About Us

Selected Readings in Plastic Surgery was launched in 1980. For 30 years, plastic surgeons, fellows, residents, and other health care providers have found our publication to be a valuable resource for focused literature reviews, current trends, and extensive reference lists on specific topics in cosmetic and reconstructive surgery. Under the direction of Editor-in-Chief Jeffrey M. Kenkel, MD, FACS, the editorial board of SRPS reviews hundreds of journal articles, books, presentations, abstracts, and web sites to assimilate information on advances and techniques that impact plastic surgery. The vast material is then summarized into topic-specific, highly readable, well-referenced monographs that are updated every 6 years.

With the introduction of Volume 11, we offer new ways to subscribe. Subscribers can choose to purchase the full volume (all 30 topics), cosmetic issues only (11 topics), or reconstructive issues only (19 topics). All issues are available in searchable PDF format. We also offer an Ask the Author feature. Send your questions to the author(s) of the current issue directly from our newly designed web site. We hope you will enjoy our new features, and we welcome your feedback.
